This ornate cold-iron (standard) rapier has a glowing blue gem set into the pommel.  The very sight of it is somehow both inspiring and intimidating.

Champion’s Redemption is a +1 striking, fearson, intelligent rapier who was once a Champion of Patrael named Paska Katesh.  After spending some time bound against their will in an evil talisman, Paska’s essence was transferred into this rapier, and they are honored to serve any Good-aligned creature.

Should the wielder ever kill or orphan a child or pollute water, Champion’s Redemption will turn its ability to cast Impending Doom upon its wielder (DC 24) and will withhold all magical abilities, including the +1 weapon potency rune.
